This is the 6.8 litre naturally aspirated engine built by YUCHAI from China specifically for marine propulsion in commercial applications.
YUCHAI are the largest independent diesel engine manufacturer in China, building 600,000 diesel engines per year. YUCHAI diesel engines are used in a variety of applications besides marine including trucks, buses, construction machinery, power generation and fire pumps.
This heavy duty engine is specifically designed for use in commercial marine applications where reliability and robust construction is key.
The engine is supplied fully assembled with ZF68 (2:1) gearbox and the following options;
