Raymarine Type 3/24v Hydraulic Linear Drive
The Drive unit is the part that interfaces with your vessel’s steering system to keep you on the right course. Raymarine has a broad range of drive units to match almost any type of steering system.
Type 3 hydraulic pump with Ram capacity: 350-500cc, Maximum stall pressure at 24V: 80 bar, Peak flow rate (no load): 2900cc/min and Voltage: 24 V. It provides a totally isolated autopilot steering system consisting of:
• Hydraulic ram: a self-contained autopilot steeringcylinder with a load limiting system and a built in clutch (to allow friction-free steering when the autopilot is not in use).
• Reversing hydraulic pump: powers the hydraulic ram.
• Hydraulic fluid reservoir: supplies hydraulic fluid to the system.
