Mercruiser 3.6L 180hp 6 Cylinder Turbo Intercooled Heat Exchanger Cooled Marine Diesel Engine With Volvo Penta Sterndrive Adaptation.
This engine has had very little use indeed and was specially adapted by the Mercruiser importers to mate onto a Volvo Penta 280/290 transom shield. Ideal for replacing an old Volvo Penta 40 or 41 series diesel engine, 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder petrol engine etc.
It has been test run by our workshops and crank oil seals have been replaced due to a tiny amount of seepage from the old ones. Otherwise very clean and liquid tight. Starts very well from cold and runs nicely. We have the Mercruiser engine start panel but no gauges. We can supply new ones if required but will work with most VDO compatible gauges.
Now serviced and ready for immediate shipment.
