Not often we see one of these! It has recently been removed from a decommissioned ships lifeboat in full running order. Starts and runs well from cold and holds 35-40psi oil pressure at low idle. Being ex lifeboat it has had very little use which accounts for its good mechanical condition.
Very well suited for a traditional narrowboat with an engine room as it is a monster of an engine and will idle so slowly you can almost watch the flywheel going round!
This engine weighs over half a ton so please don’t expect it to fit in a small launch or sailing yacht!
