Subsequently, the CPX deck unit features an alloy base. With an emphasis on reliability, they have reviewed the architecture of the windlass and reduced the number of parts without compromising on performance. This also makes the windlass easier to service. Lewmar, strives to keep up to date with new developments in the motor/ gearbox industry, constantly testing new products coming to market, and the CPX Windlass is no exception. The result is a highly reliable, light weight, high performance windlass.
Features
The CPX3 features tried and tested worm-wheel gearbox architecture and uses quality materials throughout – hard anodised aluminium for the base and cast stainless steel for the gypsy top cap and chain pipe cover.
