Dometic Bluetec 40D Marine Generator (Diesel 4kw – 3.5 kw continuous)
Recently removed and repaired. Over £2000 spent on spare parts which include:
New Radiator
New Stator
New Rectifier Unit
New Onboard Control Unit
New 12v Regulator Unit
New Cabin Controller
New Fuel Pump
This generator is now back up and running. Its a 2007 model which retails at over £7000 and has only run 97 hours since new. I have invoices for all of the above and also a short video of it running on the bench. I now have a great deal of knowledge of this generator and that comes free to the purchaser! It comes palleted up in a box and weights around 100kg so ideally buyer collects. For sale is the generator only. The required marine installation equipment is not available. The reason for the initial generator failure and subsequent repair was because the owner inadvertently ran it whilst connected to the mains!!!
